Our Passion for Sports
As kids growing up, we played volleyball everywhere inside the house, in the backyard, and at the beach. We used whatever we could find such as volleyballs, beach balls, and balloons, just to keep the game going. We invented our own versions and played any time, anywhere. For us, volleyball was not just a sport; it was a constant source of joy. That passion followed us to college, where we played on the men's club volleyball team at the University of Illinois. Our apartment volleyball sessions would usually end up with something broken.
We Must Protect this House
Years later, as parents with our own kids, we wanted to create something that captured that same spirit. Something our kids could enjoy safely around the house. We set out to design a volleyball that feels like the real thing, just softer, quieter, and a lot less likely to break a lamp!
After over a year of designing and prototyping, the VQ (Very Quiet) Volleyball was born. What started as a side project has grown into something we are incredibly proud of. We have had so many people reach out saying they love the realistic bounce of the foam and that it never deflates, feedback that has meant a lot to us.
Passing on the Love
That support led us to expand into VQ Basketball and VQ Soccer, bringing the same feel to even more ways to play. Made for all ages, from toddlers to athletes to adults, we hope your family loves it as much as ours does. And if you have a story to share, we would love to hear it.
